Innovative portable pouch triumphs over street litter!

 

 

Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 6 December 2006 – The prestigious Banks Mansion Hotel in Amsterdam has launched an active campaign to beat street litter in the Dutch capital. By providing the ‘Gum ‘n Ashbag’, an innovative, re-useable, personal litter pouch, guests visiting the city can contribute to a crackdown on street littering.

 

Unhygienic personal litter such as chewing gum and cigarette butts can now be disposed of in the trendy pouch instead of being dropped on the streets. The Gum ‘n Ashbag is an attractive solution to a huge problem in key city centre areas. Made from environmentally friendly materials, the contents are simply emptied into a bin and the pouch is ready for re-use. Collected chewing gum is hygienically stored and lit cigarette butts extinguish in the air-tight, pocket-sized gadget locking in unpleasant odours.
